International Society for Disease SurveillanceOur MissionThe International Society for Disease Surveillance (ISDS) is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization founded in 2005 and dedicated to the improvement of population health by advancing the science and practice of disease surveillance. Our VisionISDS works toward a vision of timely, effective, and coordinated disease prevention and response among a skilled public health workforce through programs that position us at the vanguard of the disease surveillance field. Our MembersISDS’s 600+ membership represents professional and academic subject matter experts in the fields of public health surveillance, clinical practice, health informatics, health policy, and other areas related to national and global health surveillance. ISDS brings the disease surveillance community together across stakeholder boundaries through a membership that represents:
